On March 29th 2020,  LINX was called to help to build out Denver’s Colorado Convention Center, where the state is working with the Army Corps of Engineers to build a 1,228-bed pop-up treatment facility to accommodate an expected surge in COVID-19.

A quick turnaround from walk-through to estimate to worker deployment.

FLUID STAFFING:
LINX was able to adjust our force’s workload to provide 55 personnel to staff the job with 2 days’ notice. As we know, the virus response is a fluid situation based on complex models of epidemiologists. As the models changed throughout the outbreak, LINX was able to modify our staffing plans to fit the needs of the community. LINX was also able to provide a quick deployment without disrupting any other existing projects.

QUICK PROCUREMENT AND INSTALLATION:
LINX’s relationship with top suppliers provides us with the capability to acquire and install technology solutions efficiently. LINX was able to order and deliver thousands of Nurse Call system devices, network switches, Cisco VoIP phone sets, and over 30 miles of structured cabling in a couple of days.

From L-R: Framing, overhead of rooms ready for structured cabling, walls are prepped for paint.

COVID-19 SAFETY:
We take the health and safety of our employees and the project site seriously. LINX provided masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer to all employees. Also, employees complied with Weifield’s daily temperature readings and daily toolbox talks.
