Powered by People: How LINX Culture Fuels Growth
LINX entered 2025 with around 750 employees and closed the year with nearly 1,300 team members across the U.S., and we’re on pace to surpass 1,500 nationwide in 2026. These hires support the growing demand we’ve seen across the country, especially in regions like Utah, Virginia, and the Pacific Northwest, where client-led growth has driven new project launches and expanded team footprints.
Retention continues to be a strong suit. While the overall company retention rate stands at around 70%, project managers have a remarkable retention rate of 88%. These are the leaders who deploy and disseminate our solutions, and it’s that consistency that builds client confidence, strengthens internal knowledge sharing, and helps LINX deliver consistent, relationship-driven service on every project.
Our commitment to a people-first culture continues to earn external recognition. In 2025, LINX was named a USA Today National Top Workplace for the first time and earned regional honors in Colorado, Salt Lake City, and Seattle. The Denver Business Journal also ranked LINX #65 on its list of the largest employers in the metro area.
Growth by Design, Not by Chance
Revenue has grown in the last two years, pushing LINX to over $250 million in total earnings. This growth is driven by more than simply chasing volume—it’s a result of strategic alignment with long-standing customers who continue to invite LINX into new markets as their trusted partner.
Any time that we talk about revenue growth, it’s really a reflection of being a partner to our clients so we can support their growth. It is the growth of our clients that drives our growth. Our mission is to deliver a consistent world-class experience that ensures we continue to be the client’s preferred partner.
In many cases, the path forward is guided by clients who want LINX involved in every job, including data center clients expanding into Iowa, Louisiana, and Arizona, as well as enterprise organizations looking to scale across multiple regions. Our customers are growing, and they’re bringing us with them. Our revenue growth is just one measure of this commitment to our clients and a reflection of their success.
Strategic Acquisitions That Add Depth and Reach
In 2025, LINX made two key acquisitions that deepened our bench and expanded our service portfolio:
Building Infrastructure Group (BIG) became LINX, establishing a permanent brick-and-mortar presence in the Metro DC area. BIG brings decades of experience serving enterprise and data center clients. Their team is now fully integrated, including the build-out of AV services supported by our centralized production facility model.
Illuminati, based in Colorado, joined LINX to form LINX Wireless. Their deep expertise in distributed antenna systems (DAS) for cellular and public safety strengthens our national wireless capabilities and brings new momentum to this growing division.
Meanwhile, the full integration of Teknon the Pacific Northwest marks another significant step forward. Originally acquired in 2018, Teknon now operates under the full LINX model, with a renewed focus on core low-voltage services, an enhanced employee experience, and a dedication to the unique processes that LINX has built over the years. a shift away from legacy electrical work to sharpen our service delivery.
Expansion Without Dilution
In 2025, Utah nearly matched corporate headquarters in total employee count, driven by hyperscale data center work, defense contracts, and enterprise projects. Growth in the Mid-Atlantic and Pacific Northwest followed suit, with expanded teams and stronger infrastructure to support major clients in those regions.
Despite the national footprint, LINX remains deeply committed to the Rocky Mountain region. Foundational clients in higher education, enterprise, healthcare, and sports entertainment continue to receive dedicated attention and resourcing.
Service Lines on the Rise
Several service divisions made major strides in 2025:
- AV entered the SCN Top 30 for the first time and added seasoned industry leader Michael Fornander to oversee national accounts, particularly in the hyperscale market.
- Security began taking on more national projects, navigating licensing challenges to support enterprise clients in new geographies.
- DAS/Wireless became the designer of record for a global online retailer’s U.S. data centers, earning LINX a respected seat at the table in critical connectivity infrastructure.
Looking Ahead to 2026
The strategy moving into 2026 remains clear and focused:
- Continue scaling AV, security, and wireless services nationwide.
- Invest in new and existing markets with client-led expansion.
- Prioritize recruiting and retaining top talent across all levels.
- Leverage SEO and Google Ads to support market entries and boost visibility in target regions.
- Protect and build upon the relationships that made 2025 possible.
