For over 13 years, LINX and TIAA have been nationwide partners, with LINX providing Network Cabling Enterprise support throughout the United States. Working with dozen of sites, our team coordinates and delivers projects and solutions to ensure TIAA’s network stays robust. For example, LINX performed 10 plus floor moves for TIAA CREF downtown Denver location over 5 years. The 33rd and 35th floors installations consisted of a consolidation point (CP) design utilizing Systimax materials. On each floor, LINX installed five (5) consolidation points receiving (96) 2081 category 6 cables. Solid conductor patch cords were installed from the CP’s to approximately a 180 workstations. LINX installed a 48 strand hybrid cable, (24 strand SM and 24 strand 50 micron LOF) ,a 100 pair category 3 rated as well as 24 category 6e cables are installed to each telecommunications room.
