Over the last few years, LINX has been providing Network Cabling solutions for a Global Manufacturer and R&D Facility specializing in defense contracts. Examples of projects include:
Project 1: LINX installed, labeled, and terminated cables to 272 locations for the internal & external secure networks. While the network room was installed with a rack mount enclosure. The Secure IDF was also connected with a 24-strand LC fiber bulkhead. Each IDF closet was outfitted with racks and a ladder rack.
Project 2: 461 cables were pulled to 455 locations for both the internal & external secure networks. 12-strand fiber was installed, terminated and tested from the Insecure IDF to each of the Secure IDF Rooms. The 3 TRs were each equipped with racks, a ladder rack and cable managers for a very organized working space.
Project 3: LINX installed, tested and labeled a complete voice-data cabling solution at the client’s location. Almost 1500 Cat 6 & 220 Cat6a cables were connected to over 800 locations on the first and second floors. All being managed by a new state-of-the-art Telecommunications Room.
