About
LINX successfully executed various low-voltage Statements of Work (SOWs) encompassing telecom, security, and audiovisual (A/V) aspects. The telecom SOW involved setting up two Main Equipment Rooms (MMR), installing 3200 feet of basket tray, placing 39 cabinets, connecting 648 strands of fiber, establishing 13 Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) locations, and establishing fiber connections between buildings. The security SOW included installing 97 access doors, setting up 130 cameras, integrating biometrics with the Building Management System (BMS), elevators, and third-party equipment. LINX also coordinated emergency/fire callouts with a Wireless provider. The scope further involved the installation and programming of 6 turnstiles, integration of 6 gates/car locks with relay logic, and comprehensive programming of the headend to define access levels and segmentations for COLO clients. The A/V SOW focused on conference rooms and digital display setups. This project was a new build with a relatively new customer, requiring careful understanding of expectations, specifications, SOW, and stakeholders involved. LINX dedicated additional time initially to ensure clarity. They also managed added scope changes throughout the project and maintained a compressed schedule through effective coordination with Aligned IT, Security, and other construction groups.
