Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Ability to know all the essential job functions of a low-voltage technician 
  • Ensures that all technical, quality, safety, cost and profitability objectives are met while maintaining top level customer satisfaction 
  • Some account management responsibility, including customer satisfaction, customer interaction and quality assurance 
  • Participates in project pre- and post- bid activities & meetings with Management 
  • Ensures compliance will all LINX/Customer contractual obligations  
  • Assist in Hiring and training staff to maintain appropriate skill and volume levels 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Regularly on-site at all assigned project sites 
  • Provides guidance and support to subordinates 
  • Supervise all on-site project personnel 
  • Quality assures projects in accordance with LINX and industry quality standards  
  • Ensures that positive customer relationships are maintained; advises management of customer situations requiring their involvement 
  • Responsible for onsite materials management 
  • Maintain Project Tracking Spreadsheet with daily updates  
  • Ensure compliance with all HR, Safety, and company policies and procedures 
  • Responsible for compliance with the Project completion check list and all other LINX/Customer project related documentation  
  • Conducts technical training classes as required 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Minimum 2 years hyperscale data center cabling experience
  • Minimum 5-years’ experience managing technicians 
  • Experience working in large, complex venues 
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints and scope documents 
  • Ability to travel as needed for project oversite 
  • Trained and or certified on test equipment 
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Professional working proficiency in English

Pay Rate: 

$30.00 – $45.00/hour

Job Summary:   

The Project Superintendent is the overall manager of a medium to large sized low voltage project and will oversee a team of field operations personnel. The Project Superintendent is responsible for achieving over-all job site productivity and ensuring high-quality work including site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work and trade contractor and supplier coordination. The Project Superintendent follows and understands Project Managers direction for installation of a structured cabling system and verbally communicates with Jobsite contracts and the Project Manager.
