Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of technical & operational experience in any of the following fields: In-building wireless systems, RF Technologies, Cellular and Public Safety Systems.
  • Experience leading multiple projects at one time
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple small crews low-voltage electrical technicians or other tradesmen
  • Proficient in Office 365, Bluebeam, Procore and other related tools
  • Fluency in English (both written & verbal)
  • ½” coax cable prep tools, Cat cable RJ45 crimper, HILTI powder-actuated tools
  • Basic hand / power tools (Screwdriver, torque wrench, crimper, Hammer drill, circular/jig saw)
  • Fluke LinkIQ continuity tester, Coax Segment Sweep testers – Kaelus iVA and Anritsu S332E
  • Coax Cable PIM testing – Anritsu PIM Master
  • System Spectrum Analyzer – Anritsu S332E, PCTEL SeeGull signal scanner
  • Praxsym Signal Generator

Travel Requirements

Able and willing to travel up to 75% of the time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install cable pathway, rough-in cable runs, terminate ½” coax cable / install connectors (MFR: Commscope, JMA, RFS. Connection: N, 4.3-10)
  • Cat cable termination (RJ45 crimp, AMP punch down), continuity testing
  • Install wall and rack mounted equipment. (MFR: Comba, Nextivity Cel-Fi, SOLiD)
  • Advanced cable dressing and building splitter trees.
  • Roof work: erect masts/sleds, mount donor antennas, run, dress, support cabling, grounding & weatherproofing
  • Conduct cable segment sweep testing and interpret results (Distance to Fault & Return Loss)
  • Conduct system and branch PIM testing and interpret results.
  • Work with Project Managers to coordinate manpower teams to execute installations.
  • Line out crew with all relevant site information and desired scope of work.
  • Interface professionally with external points of contact.
  • Track and report on project status.
  • Communicate design changes or revisions from Engineering to field teams.
  • Arrive at work at agreed-upon site start times.
  • Show up ready with appropriate personal tools & equipment.
  • Display professionalism in all interactions with team members and external points of contact.
  • Keep material staging areas organized and neat, regularly clean-up work areas as you go.
  • Keep track of all tools, equipment, and project materials in your possession.

Pay Rate:

$30.00 – $35.00/hour

Job Summary:

A Project Foreman acts as a Site Lead for personnel in the field. This person is accountable for driving a project’s installation, and may be the primary boots on the ground for multiple installs in parallel, though usually a single project per day, or two at most. Under the direction of the Superintendent and/or Construction Manager and Project Manager, the Project Foreman seeks to hit targets to achieve critical milestone dates using the scheduled manpower. The Foreman secures the delivery of all necessary tools, equipment, and materials to the job site, and lines out the field team(s) on current pacing and daily and weekly targeted scopes of work. The Project Foreman serves as a day-to-day field Point of Contact to all Electrical and General Contractor personnel, as well as end customer on-site personnel.
