Job Summary:
The Low Voltage General Foreman reports directly to the Project Manager and is responsible for onsite job coordination and management. The Low Voltage General Foreman will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure jobs are delivered in a professional manner and are on time and on budget. The Low Voltage General Foreman communicates directly with customers, employees and subcontractors and management. The Low Voltage General Foreman is responsible for managing installation work orders and job site check lists to ensure job completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all technical, quality, cost and profitability objectives are met while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction on projects
- Participate in manpower planning and hire contract workers as needed
- Complete timesheets for contract workers
- Some account management responsibility, including customer satisfaction, customer interaction & quality control for your sites.
- Responsible for personnel issues/write-ups
- Participate in project pre- and post- bid activities & meetings with Project Managers, Estimating and Sales
- Communicate daily goals to all of your teams
- Provide lists of material needed to order
- Lead a team and provide guidance, support and supervision to ensure quality assurance
- Track moves/adds/changes for job material and labor
- Monitor progress on all jobs you are running and shift around crews as needed
- Consistently monitor and manage job cost through tracking reports and Bluebeam
- Ensure that positive customer relationships are maintained and advise management of customer situations requiring their involvement
- Train crews of low voltage technicians to help your team grow and ensure compliance with LINX safety regulations
- Set up deliveries / pick-ups with warehouse
- Ensure team compliance with all HR and company policies and procedures
- Responsible for compliance with the project completion check list and all other LINX/customer project related documentation
- Conduct technical training classes as required to help train staff to deliver tasks in an efficient manner
- Professional working proficiency in English
Minimum Requirements
- 4 years Low Voltage Experience
- 2 years in a leadership role
- Ability to delegate efficiently
- Ability to follow project processes
- Consistently meets customer time-line commitments
- Strong communication skills (Written & Oral)
- Understanding of staffing and scheduling requirements & time sheet accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to manage & review effectively
- Mastery of all tools & equipment required; ability to track change orders; estimating skills
- Ability to interpret Scope of Work and Bill of Materials, blueprints, schedules and other project documents
Preferred Certifications (not required)
- Installer Level 2 BICSI certified
- Level 1 OJT
- BICSI certified Tech
- L2 Installer OJT & coursework
Pay Rate:
$32.00 – $36.00 / hour
