Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Conduct thorough QA/QC inspections of network cabling projects to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations / Perform job site inspections to verify compliance with LINX and industry standards, local regulations, and costumer requirements and report findings to stakeholders 
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of project scopes, including materials, equipment, and labor requirements. 
  • Supervise and provide guidance to cabling crews, ensuring that tasks are executed efficiently and with high-quality workmanship. 
  • Collaborate with project managers to address any deviations from project plans, recommending corrective actions as needed. 
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality control inspections and project progress. 
  • Conduct pre-installation and post-installation quality checks to validate cable connections, terminations, and overall system functionality. 
  • Identify and report any defects, deficiencies, or deviations from quality standards, and work with teams to resolve issues promptly. 
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, guidelines, and checklists to streamline processes and improve overall project quality. 
  • Train and mentor junior quality control personnel to enhance their skills and understanding of quality assurance. 
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to address any quality-related concerns and provide updates on project progress. 
  • Participate in project meetings to provide insights on quality control aspects and contribute to project planning and execution. 
  • Stay current with industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies related to network cabling. 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network cabling projects, including fiber and copper infrastructure installations.  
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to network cabling, such as TIA/EIA and BICSI standards. 
  • Proven experience in quality control and quality assurance processes within the telecommunications or cabling industry. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders. 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff. 
  • Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for cable testing and quality control. 
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and heights, as required by project sites. 
  • Professional working proficiency in English 

Preferred Certifications (not required) 

  • BICSI, Technician, or Installation Certification 
  • OSHA 10 
  • Powder Actuated tools Certification 
  • Confined Space Certification 
  • CPR and First aid certified 
  • Manufacturers certifications for Installation and Maintenance 
  • Lift certified 

Pay Rate: 

$29.00 – $40.00 / hour
